Shipping Policy
- The Scrap Castle (TSC) will base shipping charges on the estimated number of packages, and weight and size of those packages necessary to safely and securely ship each order.
- The Scrap Castle (TSC) Members will pay a maximum of $4.00 for ground-shipped orders, including Hawaii and will receive discounts off of priority shipping. Additionally, Members will receive FREE shipping for ground-shipped orders, including Hawaii totaling $60.00 and above, after discounts and before applicable taxes.
- Non-members will pay $6.00 for ground-shipped orders of any size.
- TSC will use USPS as the preferred carrier. TCS will typically use FedEx for all orders specifying an express shipping level.
- All shipping related decisions will be at TSC's discretion, including carrier selection, etc. unless otherwise specified by the user during checkout and/or prior to the processing of an order.
- There will also be a surcharge for shipping to Alaska, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico regardless of membership status. Members in these states will, however, receive a discounted rate as part of their membership benefits. These charges will be evident in the Shopping Bag prior to completing the checkout process.
Minimum Order Policy
- All orders with a merchandise amount, after all applicable discounts, that are less than $6.00 will be charged a small order fee. The amount of the fee will be determined by calculating the difference of $6.00 less the merchandise amount.
Special Order Policy
- An order becomes a Special Order when the ordered quantity of any one item requires TSC to place a special order with the corresponding manufacturer. Typically, but not exclusively, this applies when quantities exceed (25) units of a single item.
- All orders with one or more items that are special ordered will be held until all items are available and shipped as a single shipment.
- There will be a processing charge equal to 20% of the merchandise total for all cancellations and/or returns of special orders.
Back Order Policy
- All orders containing items currently available and items still available from the manufacturer (mixed orders) will be held for up to 15 days and shipped as a single shipment.
- Quantities of any and all items determined to be no longer available will be removed from your order and the total charged amount will be adjusted accordingly.
- We DO NOT store your credit card information, therefore a TSC representative will contact you for information necessary to complete any refunds.
- * As a service to TSC Members, any orders containing back ordered or special order items still available from the manufacturer will not lessen any promotion or member benefits, such as free shipping or quantity discounts, unless otherwise specified in the promotion details.
* This policy item only applies to orders with shipping addresses in the 48 contiguous states and Hawaii. This policy item does not apply to: Alaska, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico
Return Policy
TSC understands that sometimes the products you order do not meet your personal expectations. Our goal at The Scrap Castle is for our customers to be 100% satisfied.
- Any unopened, unused items in their original condition can be returned to TSC for a refund. The actual refund amount will not exceed the original order amount less any shipping charges incurred by TSC. You are responsible for any and all shipping charges back to TSC. Please follow these steps:
- Package all items to be returned in the same box and with adequate packing materials to ensure items will arrive safely and undamaged.
- Include a copy of your original order receipt.
- Include a letter explaining why you are returning the items.

- Refunds will be processed once the returned items are received and verified to be unopened, unused and in their original condition. We DO NOT store your credit card information, therefore a TSC representative will contact you for information necessary to complete the refund.
